Busy private optometry practice seeing an enthusiastic, friendly and reliable individual. Minimum 1 years experience in the optical/optometry field. Need to be available on some Saturdays.

This position requires, but not limited to the following:

-Optical sales experience, experience in frame styling and recommending lenses and coatings to patients. Comfortable in selling multiple pairs and luxury frames.

-Positive attitude with strong communication skills

-Experience with insurance verification and billing (VSP, Eyemed, etc)

-Dispensing glasses and contact lenses

-Contact lens training

-Frame adjustments and repairs (including knowing how to use manual lensometer)

-Scheduling appointments and answering phones

-Understand basic computer skills and email

-Willing to learn and be part of a team

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:
We provide KN95 mask or surgical masks if needed. Multiple air purifiers running through out office.

• Long Beach, CA 90803: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
