Looking for a dynamic individual to join our team. This individual will be asked to learn multiple areas of the office, including responsibilities associated with being a receptionist, optician, technician and vision therapist. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in working with all ages in the medical/optical field. The environment is face paced and fun.

Areas to Shine:

• Answer incoming calls and direct appropriately
• Schedule appointments
• Monitor appointment confirmation system
• Greet patients, update demographics, collect payments
• Verify insurance eligibility
• Scanning/copying/faxing
• Process medical records requests
• Patient special testing
• Update patient medical information
• Frame and lens selection
• Dispensing and selling glasses
• Visual Perceptual testing and vision therapy
• Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal, medical and financial information per HIPAA

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
