The MedServ Group is a rapidly growing company which provides residents in healthcare settings such as nursing/rehab facilities with top-of-the-line care. We are currently searching for a talented Optometrist to join our team! You will use your clinical and interpersonal skills to provide high-quality vision care to our patients. The ideal optometry candidate is committed to delivering quality patient care to the senior population.

Optometrist Responsibilities*

• Perform comprehensive eye exams.
• Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease.
• Prescribe corrective lenses or eye medications as needed.
• Provide pre and post-operative care to surgical patients.
• Promote healthy vision by counseling and educating patients.

Optometrist Qualifications*

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree and active state license.
• Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics.
• Customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.

Compensation and Benefits*
We reward our optometrists with competitive rates (commensurate with experience) as well as the following:

• 22-25 patients per visit, preventative care.
• $800- $900 per visit
• Extremely flexible scheduling.
• Average day: 6-7 hours visiting patients plus paperwork.
• Sign-on Bonus
• Back office administrative support
• Clinical support
• All doctors are 1099 (independent contractors)
