Job Title : Sr Database Platform Engineer

Description :

TIAA is Looking for a DBA to support mission critical Datacenter Maintenance project with administration skills in RDBMS Oracle, this is highly demanding role and requires advanced knowledge in HA/DR & backup/restore scenarios.

Required Skills:

Candidate should have experience with below skillset:

• Extensive experience in High Availability & Disaster Recovery Scenarios - RAC / TAF / Services / Active Data Guard
• Solid hands-on experience with Database technologies supporting 24x7 business critical applications –Oracle
• Provide DBA support on all aspects of databases administration including provisioning, backup/recovery, replication, deployment and real time production troubleshooting responsibilities on Oracle
• Well versed with Database architecture Oracle
• Extensive knowledge of backup & recovery and Data Center switchover/Failover scenarios (Incremental/Full/Flashback/Cloning)
• Deep knowledge of industry-standard, enterprise-class best practices for a large database environment
• Excellent automation experience with Python, YAML, Unix Shell scripting, etc.
• Candidate should be flexible to work off hours and weekends
• Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience working with Cloud technologies (AWS | Azure | GCP) , Datastore products in IaaS or PaaS/RDS offerings (Oracle, MSSQL, Aurora, PostgreSQL, Atlas, Snowflake etc.) a big plus
