Position: Assembly

Location: Geneva, IL 60134

Duration: 2 Months

Pay rate: $17/hr.

Shift: Day Shift 7 AM to 3:30 PM

Job Description:

· Responsible for accurately performing all warehouse activities while maintaining company standards in safety, security, quality, and productivity.

· Responsible for ensuring that all orders are processed accurately and in a timely fashion.

· Packs, wraps, protects, consolidates, and arranges product in the assembly department.

· Seals, weighs, transports, stacks, and labels parcels w/ appropriate identification labels.

· Uses shrink wrap machines.

· Takes responsibility for self and workload by completing projects/assignment w/in established department standards.

· Understand the importance of minimizing errors by maintaining accuracy of work w/in department standards /averages.

· Adhere to all production procedures and report/eliminate variances.

· Adhere to safety protocols and promoting safe practices.

· Reports unsafe practices, behaviors and conditions.

· Assists others as needed, regardless of duty or assignment to ensure the demands of the facility are met.

· Accepts job assignments w/ a positive attitude and treats co-workers w/ utmost respect.

· Must be able to read and write in English or Spanish, count accurately, do simple math, and write legibly.

· Must be able to work overtime when business needs require.

Physical Requirements:

· Must be capable of sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.

· Must be able to lift/push/carry up to 50 lbs frequently.

· Must be able to work in extreme temperatures (hot and cold).

Education:

· High School Diploma or GED is required.
