Charles River Orthodontics in Needham, MA is looking for an experienced orthodontic assistant to lead and grow our clinical team! Our ideal candidate is friendly, organized, motivated, and reliable.

Charles River Orthodontics is owned and operated by one orthodontist, Dr. Nina Khedkar, and has one location. We are looking to build a team of caring and hard-working individuals who have a passion for orthodontics and exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the clinical orthodontic team
• Ordering and organizing clinical supplies
• Greet and take excellent care of our patients
• Take x-rays, intraoral and extraoral photos, iTero scan
• Patient charting
• Place and remove archwires and separators
• Fit orthodontic bands and appliances
• Take impressions
• Utilize a dry field, prepare teeth to place brackets, Invisalign attachments
• Setting up, breaking down, disinfecting and sterilizing treatment areas and instruments
• Fabricate essix retainers
• Oral hygiene and care instructions
• Maintain compliance with all standards and protocols of OSHA and HIPAA
• Assist doctor as needed

Qualifications

• MA Dental Assistant License
• Radiology Certification

Compensation based on experience and job performance.
