Join Valley Cities and work with other dedicated professionals as part of a dynamic and mission driven multidisciplinary treatment team! Our team-based model of care centers on holistic person- and family-centered care that addresses all aspects of recovery. We incorporate evidence-based practices into our services including DBT, EMDR, CBT for Psychosis, and WRAP, among others, to assist our clients on their journeys through recovery. Our treatment teams include therapists, case managers, peer support specialists, employment specialists, addiction specialists, and psychiatry providers. Our Outpatient Psychiatrists conduct psychiatric evaluations, provide ongoing medication treatment, and collaborate with other team members to provide high quality, team-based care. In addition, there are opportunities to provide Medication Assisted Treatment for Substance Use Disorders and consultation to primary care partners. Our psychiatrists are also leads for our psychiatry services within our outpatient clinics. They supervise Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, facilitate case consults, and work with clinic management on improving overall quality of services for their sites. Essential Job Functions (This is not the job description in its entirety):

  • Conducts psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication management services to Valley Cities clients
  • Provides supervision for Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners
  • Collaborates with other members of our multidisciplinary teams, providing teaching/consultation as needed
  • Facilitates case consult meetings
  • Has regular meetings with clinic management, coordinating psychiatry services with the rest of the clinic services and collaborating on clinical quality improvement for their site.
  • Provides psychiatric care and consultation to primary care partners as assigned.
  • Maintains required clinical and medical records in accordance with Federal, State, local, governing agencies, and community standards.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Physician licensed to practice under Chapter 18.57 or 18.71 RCW, who is Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry Other:
  • Board Certified in Psychiatry (Preferred)

Pay: $188,115.00 - $288,231.00 per year
