DATA is hiring an engaging Behavioral Health Therapist with a “Can Do” attitude to provide substance use and co-occurring therapy in Delray Beach. Potential team members must be highly motivated team players that demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.

Hours of Position: Monday through Thursday (12pm to 8 pm); Friday (9 am – 5 pm)

Specific tasks include, but are not limited to:

1. Working as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team, providing integrated services to clients with substance use issues, including co-occurring disorders;

2. Conducting biopsychosocial assessments and collaboratively developing individualized, strengths-based care plans;

3. Providing culturally aware, evidence-based individual, family and group therapy, including crisis counseling, within a recovery oriented system of care;

4. Maintaining weekly contact with your clients, including assisting them with accessing community resources identified on their care plan (i.e., case management); and

5. Embracing agency and system of care initiatives, including Zero Suicide, ROSC, Trauma Informed Care, Racial Equity, etc.

Education & Experience: A Master’s Degree in an accepted behavioral health field with preferably at least one (1) year experience conducting biopsychosocial assessments, case management, individual, family, and/or group therapy. Experience in navigating Microsoft Word and Excel and web-based programs is essential. Preference for experience working with adolescents with behavioral health challenges. Bilingual a plus.

Must be able to pass a Level II Background Screening, a urinalysis test and have a valid Florida Driver’s License and personal, reliable transportation.

Our team of over 100 experienced and dedicated staff provide a full continuum of behavioral health services including outreach, prevention, intervention, Treatment Accountability for Safer Communities (TASC), outpatient, and residential treatment to communities in Palm Beach, Martin, Okeechobee, St. Lucie, and Indian River counties. In addition to our two outpatient and residential facilities in West Palm Beach and Ft. Pierce, we are also co-located in schools, Department of Juvenile Justice facilities, and with other community partners.
