Outside Sales Support Specialist - New York City Metropolitan Area
Overview
Provide sales and solutions for the electrical distribution marketplace within Lower New York and North/Central New Jersey.
Circuit Breaker Sales Northeast is a switchgear & circuit breaker service shop located in Connecticut offering component support, all types & manufacturers circuit breakers, emergency services, complete circuit breaker remanufacturing services, switchgear & engineering capabilities (including engineering studies), vacuum roll-in replacements, all types & manufacturers relays, motor control center support, and complete life extension programs in the territory.
Circuit Breaker Sales Northeast represents and distributes the other Group CBS companies' offerings such as CBS ArcSafe (remote racking and remote switching products), replacement Vacuum Interrupters (New OEM replacement vacuum interrupters), Magnetron Atmospheric Condition (MAC-TS4) and timing test sets.

This is Outside Sales Support Specialist position which will work in support of the Outside Sales team members. Duties will be assigned and managed by the Regional Sales Manager and Operations managers
Responsibilities
- Partner with the territory outside and inside sales team to develop Group CBS presence with emphasis on NYC and the surrounding areas.
- Work closely with the regional and national sales directors from other Group CBS companies to build a comprehensive and repeatable presentation of all of the Group CBS capabilities.
- Prospect leads through multiple channels, engage with decision makers, and professionally represent Group CBS to secure relationships and build accounts/sales.
- Prepare complex proposals and assemble order execution plans by sourcing, organizing and managing orders and projects with other team members in engineering and production.
- Sales calls, job walks, and customer meetings as assigned.
- Understand territory, and manage development of relationships, trust, and leadership credibility, both internal and external, as the leaders in the industry
- Consult with clients to determine their needs and priorities.
- Oversee written proposals for hardware, service, life extension, testing, commissioning, and engineering services.
Qualifications
- Understanding of low voltage and medium voltage electrical distribution systems and associated equipment
- Ability to read and analyze electrical schematics and drawings
- Willingness to learn
- Sales and customer service experience and acumen and skills
- Persistence and determination
- Ability to work well with others
- Attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to assess electrical processes and procedures
- Understanding of basic troubleshooting

Pay Range: Base $75k - $90k
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
