Matrix Recruitment is recruiting a Packing Lead Role for our Client a Pharmaceutical Company based in Clonmel Co. Tipperary. This a great opportunity not to be missed.

The Packing Lead will report into the Warehouse Supervisor & be responsible for assisting with managing and developing the warehouse function to ensure best practice processes and procedures within warehousing, and logistics are exercised to maximise effectiveness and efficiency. You must have a strong background in operations, ERP systems and people management.

Salary for the position is €15.07 per hour based on 39 hours per week. Closing date for this role is 5pm on Friday 18th November 2022.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead the day-to-day operations of a busy Order Fulfilment Warehouse Operation

• Management, of the Secondary Packaging materials, inventory levels

• Manage the daily distribution of orders

• Motivating and managing a team of picking operators.

• Ensuring processes and procedures are maintained to ensure maximum efficiency & dispatch accuracy.

• Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction

• Maintain high standards in housekeeping and Safety.

• Handling and insertion of light materials

• Operating Lifting Equipment.

• Undertaking visual inspections for quality purposes.

• Remaining vigilant to defects or faulty materials.

Essential Criteria

• 2-3+ year’s work experience in a warehouse operations role within a fast paced / high throughput warehousing environment.

• Knowledge of warehouse software packages (ERP systems) and MS Office proficiency.

• You must have good IT skills and demonstrate a can-do attitude with hands on commitment to getting the job done

• Significant experience working in a Warehouse / Distribution / Logistics environment

• Excellent planning and organisation skills with a high level of attention to detail.

• Experienced in operating warehousing lifting equipment is desirable.

• Excellent attention to detail with good manual dexterity

• Adaptable and flexible

• Ability to work as part of a team
