House Doctors is a home repair and improvement company operating in the Charlottesville, Waynesboro, Staunton and Harrisonburg areas. House Doctors seeks experienced Painter for internal and external painting work in the Charlottesville and/or Shenandoah Valley area. If you have prior experience working as a painter or in a comparable position and seek a part-time to possible full-time position, please apply.
Responsibilities

• Perform painting tasks including surface preparation, priming, painting, staining, and finishing using various techniques and tools such as brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
• Inspect surfaces for damage, decay, or other issues, and make necessary repairs or recommend appropriate actions to ensure proper surface preparation.
• Take special care to protect clients' homes, belongings, installed shrubbery, etc. Keep work area clean and free from debris, cleaning work area every prior to departing.
• Coordinate with other House Doctors team members to schedule painting tasks and ensure timely completion of projects.
• Other duties as assigned by foreman.

Physical Demands
Requires frequently: Standing, lifting of 50+ lbs., Carrying 50+ lbs., walking, pushing, stooping, climbing, bending, crouching, crawling, reaching above and below shoulder level; full use of hands, good finger dexterity, lifting from floor to waist and twisting of torso. Also includes working in cramped spaces, on ladders, and with power tools and perform manual labor in outside environment, exposed to heat, sun, high humidity, rain and other adverse weather conditions.
Requirements

• Professional painting experience: 1-3 years (Required); 5 years (Preferred)
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
