I own a growing law firm in need of a reliable and proactive Paralegal. My legal team works together and independently to resolve clients cases in a timely and exact manner. The Paralegal will work directly with the attorney to process auto accident claims. Our case load is growing and the ideal candidate for this position is organized, professional, responsible, and committed to helping my team meet all of our clients’ needs.
Requirement;
- Must have civil litigation or auto accident experience. This is a plaintiff personal injury position. Must be able to help prepare demands and complaints for suit when necessary.
- In Person work required at the location post. No remote work option available at the moment.
- Follow instructions and complete the tasks as assigned in timely manner

- Must have a lifestyle and work ethic that supports a working professional. We expect you to come to work everyday and work while there.
- Be able to work as a team with the attorney, fellow paralegals, and other legal support staff.
- Excellent communication skills. Should be able to interact and communicate with clients, third-party businesses and courts, both on the phone and in person.
- Must have good writing Skills. Able to draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, legal memorandums and other documents ranging from simple to complex. Create reports for attorneys based on case specifications and attorney requests.
- Strong Research and investigative skill. Must be proficient at Internet research and legal research databases such Westlaw and Lexis/Nexis.
- File exhibits, briefs, appeals and other legal documents with the court. Get affidavits and other formal statements that may be used as evidence in court. Providing behind-the-scenes support in the courtroom at hearings and trials, or in arbitration, mediation, administrative proceedings, and closings
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trial by organizing document binders, creating exhibit lists, or drafting settlement agreements.
- Technology Skills. Must be familiar with industry software, email, faxing, scanning, photos, marking exhibits and assisting with tech when needed.
- Organize and maintain documents in a paper or electronic filing systems. Have ability to sort, index, categorize, order, manipulate and organize the information, physical documents, exhibits, and evidence, and technology applications and databases that assist in managing case-related data.

- Be able to work on the weekend if needed.
