$17,000 Sign-On Bonus and Relocation Assistance Available - Metro West Ambulance is currently offering a $17,000 sign-on bonus for new full time Paramedics with a one-year employment commitment. In addition, new Paramedics may be eligible for up to $2,500 in relocation assistance.

Our EMTs and Paramedics have opportunities to train and work in many of our divisions, including:
- ALS Interfacility Ambulance
- Critical Care Transport, including ECMO and Organ Donation
- Mobile Integrated Health
- Wildland Fire Medical Coverage
- Rural 911 Ambulance Coverage
- Event Standby & Medical Services

Requirements of the Paramedic position include:
- Current Oregon Paramedic License
- Current BLS, ACLS, PHTLS, and pediatric certifications (accepted pediatric certifications include PALS, PEPP, or EPC)
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum of 21 years in age
- Applicants must meet Metro West Ambulance’s motor vehicle record, National/Federal and criminal background check, drug & alcohol screening, and physical requirement standards. Metro West Ambulance is a drug free work place.
