Job Title: Parking Attendant/Engineer- Level I

Location(s): Atlanta, GA Hours: Full-time Monday - Friday 10:00am - 6:00pm

What you will be doing:

• Assist in developing the Strategic plan for the Government's parking system facilities and related local transportation elements including: parking structure, surface parking lots, on street parking, metering, parking valet services, downtown shuttle and associated vendor contracts.
• Assist in conducting parking and traffic studies, including field research, surveys and data collection, preparation of necessary reports.
• Coordinates with Public Works maintenance staff for ongoing maintenance requirements for parking structures and metering inventory.
• Coordinates with Shuttle operator for service requirements and resolutions to customer complaints.
• Oversees parking meter collections, garage attendant and valet collections, including accounting and reconciliation of receipts.
• Monitors customer trends/behavior to maintain operational efficiency and develop new customer service programs.
• Provides Tier I support to Parking Access Card systems.
• Manages all Parking databases and parking management software.
• Provides Tier I daily operational systems as needed.
• Provides daily walkthroughs of parking facilities to ensure all safety requirements are met and ensures that any safety issues are identified and reported to the proper authorities for resolution.
• Makes recommendations for continuous improvement in line with industry best practices.

Position Requirements

Education:

• An Associate's degree in Business or related field is preferred but not required.

Knowledge/Experience:

• Experience working with Quickbooks preferred.
