Job Summary:
- Manipulate vehicles to take advantage of all spaces.
- Clean up debris from parking lot.
- Coupon cars to future sales/business.
- Use hand signals and lights to direct patrons into open spots.
- Check vehicles for damage.
- Position or remove barricades to prevent parking in certain spots.
- Help customers locate their vehicles.
- Resolve parking lot disputes that occur between customers.
- Escort customers to their vehicles if needed.
- Green-light motorists coming into garage after checking identification.
- Help patrons exit parking garage safely.
- Give directions to nearest highway or destination.
Required Relationships:
- Each Parking Lot Attendant will be working with all levels of the Safety & Security Department staff and various levels of other departments to which the Safety & Security Department operation is related.
- Each Public Safety Officer will be in contact with a high volume of guests and/or employees daily, which requires good guest service skills and ability.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
- Good verbal communication skills to interact with customers and provide assistance.
- Physical stamina and fitness to be on your feet for long periods and walk or stand for extended periods.
- Dependability to arrive on time for scheduled shifts and adhere to the assigned work schedule.
