PART-QUALIFIED AND TRAINEE TRADE MARK ATTORNEY(S)

Our client an Award-Winning Intellectual Property Firm, is seeking a part-qualified and/or trainee Trade Mark Attorney to join its busy award-winning team.

They have a rapidly growing, enviable client base, managed by a team of enthusiastic, friendly and experienced Attorneys. Recent increases in the team’s workload would ideally be met with a candidate(s) that seeks responsibility, personal development, and achieving great outcomes for our clients.

The successful candidate(s) will be involved in providing the full range of Trade Mark services to a variety of interesting and dynamic clients, both domestic and international, which range from early stage start-ups, to some of the world’s largest brands.

The ideal candidate(s) will be equally happy working as part of a team, as well as independently.

As the Trade Mark practice is busy, an ability to prioritise, and work on multiple matters, across a range of clients, on any one day will be key. The ability to work to deadlines – often multiple deadlines – will be an integral part of the role. Attention to detail is a must.

Some Key responsibilities include:

· Assist with the preparation and filing of documents for the relevant intellectual property offices;

· Conduct trade mark searches / patent applications and other research and analysis;

· Liaise with clients, associates and other third parties;

· Draft trade mark specifications and filing strategies;

· Participate in team activities and training when required;

· Desk management and a variety of other administrative duties.

Note: This is not a traineeship leading toward FE1 examinations.

About You

• You’re highly organized and you have excellent time management.
• You have the ability to meet deadlines and manage a busy workload.
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• You work well on your own as well as being part of the team.
• You’ll have genuine interest in brands, and in trade mark and/or patent law!
• Ideally you have experience with trademarks and patents – whether that’s searching, filing trade mark / patent applications, or dealing with commercial disputes.
• You will likely be a recent law or business graduate or have obtained some paralegal experience.
• You will clearly demonstrate an interest in working in the field of intellectual property.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: €35,000.00-€50,000.00 per year
