Parker's Building Supply, a Division of US LBM, is Seeking a Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join their team in Houston, TX!

Wage: $10 - $12 an hour (Weekly Pay)

How you will spend your days as an Administrative Assistant:
- Monitors worker’s compensation and communicates with doctors, employees, and corporate personnel.
- Communicates safety practices to managers/employees, participate in safety related calls weekly/monthly. Record OSHA hours worked quarterly.
- Reviews reports and bills noting discrepancies in costs, gross profits, etc.
- Assists various departments including sales, operations, and credit by performing a wide variety of clerical and support functions as needed, i.e., typing, filing, answering phones, invoicing, etc.
- Prepares and maintains various reports and spreadsheets as required by location management.

Administrative Assistant Requirements:
- Experience. 3 years prior experience in an administrative role.
- Special Knowledge. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Special Skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively and professionally with all associates.
- Physical Demands. Ability to lift up to 25lbs frequently and 50lbs on a random basis, standing, walking or sitting for extended periods of time, and bending or stooping.
