Prairie State Bank & Trust, a locally owned $800 million bank with 20 offices in Central Illinois, has an immediate opening for a PART TIME Customer Service Representative/Teller in Mattoon, IL. We are seeking talented, hardworking candidates who are possess the reliability and flexibility to adapt to scheduling needs. This position will work an estimated 25-28 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that our customers receive excellent customer service
• Assist customers with routine account related transactions such as deposits, loan payments, cashing checks, transfer of funds between accounts, stop payments as well as inquiries regarding transactions and services
• Educating customers on bank products and services
• Perform daily balancing functions of a cash drawer
• Comply with bank operation and security procedures
• Maintain customer confidence and protect bank operations by keeping information confidential
• Saturday branch coverage
• Open and closing branch as schedule deems necessary

• Dependable transportation (company paid reimbursement for work travel)

Physical Requirements:

• Occasionally lift up to 40 pounds
• Stand 75% of the shift

Hours of Operation:

Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
Saturday 9:00 am - Noon

This is a Part Time position and would work an estimated 25-28 hours a week. Business hours listed above include all banking hours, but doesn't reflect the work schedule for this position.
