Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Anesthesia Technician in the Operating Room you will deliver high quality, patient centered care as you assist staff during operative and invasive procedures. Our team supports each other like family and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.

In this role:

You will adhere to policies and procedures in response to infection control, medical equipment and hazardous material.

You will clean and maintain anesthesia machines and monitors located in the OR and OB areas, and keep records of maintenance.

You will maintain and organize all necessary supplies and equipment to meet the needs of the patients, staff and anesthesiologists.

You will share the responsibility of general department duties with the OR team members.

You will follow established policies and procedures to identify and reduce the risk of acquiring or transmitting infection.

You will follow patient and employee safety/security policies and protocols, including hand hygiene, use of universal precautions, use of personal protective equipment, and adherence to isolation procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to accept compensation of $15.86 per hour with additional compensation available to candidates with experience working in OR.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date - offered in new employee orientation
