Overview:
The Parking Supervisor will assist the Director of Ticketing in daily operations of all parking locations. Position is responsible for various administrative duties and ensuring staff has appropriate knowledge and tools for customer service focus and efficient operations.

This role will pay an hourly wage of $12.00.

Responsibilities:
  • Train, supervise, evaluate part time staff for event needs
  • Monitor ingress & egress of cars on to the property in an efficient manner
  • Track & maintain parking tickets and reconciliations
  • Ability to work in all parking locations and positions
  • Balance cash drawers at the end of shift
  • Set up A-frame signs, parking cones, and reserved/disabled parking signs as event needs
  • Identify and problem solve parking issues; prevent when possible
  • Provide excellent customer service assistance to internal and external clients
  • Know general building information such as policies, building location & amenities
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Employee must be at least 18 years old
  • High School diploma or GED (or any equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Prior customer service experience is preferred
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Must be able to work shifts including nights, weekends and holidays dependent on events schedule
  • Stand and walk for four to six hours at a time
  • Ability to work outdoors with extreme heat and weather conditions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Can communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Must be comfortable multi-tasking and working in a fast paced environment
  • Has ability to count money, make change accurately
  • Ability to input data into a computer to record sales transactions
  • Basic computer skills in typing, data entry, with Microsoft Office products and internet platforms
  • Self-motivated and excellent organizational skills
  • Two (2) or more years’ experience in a position in an arena, convention center, public assembly facility or similar location preferred
