About us

The Valley Indoor Swap Meet is a retail location that houses over 250 small business owners in the city of Pomona, CA. We are social, fast-paced and collaborative.

The ideal candidate will be bilingual, energetic, punctual, responsible, and hardworking. We are looking for someone with a great attitude, multitasker, and exceptional people skills to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer phones and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of the front desk.
  • Assisting office with various tasks (making copies, filing, data entry).
  • Keeping stats on giveaways.
  • Commitment to work a flexible schedule, including weekends & holidays.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Make PA announcements.
  • Assisting with social media.
  • General knowledge of our swap meet and products and the ability to make recommendations is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual- Fluent in Spanish
  • 1+ years of office clerk and/or customer service experience required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, and Word.
  • Social media marketing is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour

  • Pomona, CA 91767: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
