Part-Time Server

Job Summary

*This job is only for 2975 W Linda Ln, Chandler, AZ 85224; Monday-Thursday from 10:45am-1:00pm* (may change)

The Server receives meals from N1 Delivery Driver directly at school location and serves meals to elementary and high school students, when applicable. Becomes familiar with meal patterns with an understanding of the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), and other federal/state child nutrition programs. The Driver/Server’s vision is to change lives and shape culture through a commitment to servant leadership.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

· Ensure food safety at time of delivery and serving.

· Observe safe driving and maintain all company driving guidelines.

· Maintain time/temp food logs, when applicable.

· Be personable and professional to students and staff at schools.

· Understand the NSLP, CACFP, SFSP, and other federal/state child nutrition programs to maintain compliance with meal patterns.

· Work closely with Route Manager and corporate personnel to ensure accurate and smooth operations.

Job Requirements

· Has or will obtain food handler’s card.

· Has or will obtain DPS-issued, Level One fingerprint clearance Card

· Perform routine physical activities including sitting or standing longer than 6 hours, walking, squatting, lift 50 pounds, exposure to extreme heat and/or cold, operate and use food service equipment.

· Excellent problem-solving skills

· Possess attention to detail

· Possess High School Diploma or equivalent

· Positive, team-based approach.

· Must like working with children

· Can withstand environment and maintain focus with a high noise level and considerable sensory stimulation.

· Read, write, and comprehend English to receive instructions and read N1 documents.

Job Preferences

1-year prior customer service experience

Bi-lingual Spanish speaker, a plus

Salary Range:

FLSA Classification – Non-exempt

$15.50 per hour; after successful 90-day review: potential increase of pay to $17.30 per hour.

Part-Time position (Part-time may be available)
