Part-time Social Media Coordinator

Serenity Recovery and Wellness - A Healing Center for Moms is an outpatient treatment center dedicated to empowering and facilitating healing for mothers who suffer with anxiety and depression during the pregnancy and postpartum periods. We need help telling the Serenity (www.serentyrw.com) story online! Far too few people in Salt Lake and Utah counties, especially new mothers and the obstetricians who treat them, don’t know about the services offered by Serenity. The right candidate can help change this. If you are passionate about mental wellness and online content creation, this job may be just right for you.

What we think it will take to be successful:

Strong story telling ability; someone who can take an idea and then develop texture and emotion to build attraction and interest for the idea

A confident copywriter.

Prior graphic design experience (from Canva to Photoshop) …we can provide training in this area.

An eye for original and effective social media content.

Ability to fully leverage TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and other social media platforms.

Short-form video editing capabilities.

Basic familiarity with online marketing strategies and channels.

Someone who is naturally creative and who isn’t afraid of testing new ideas.

Someone who cringes at the thought of a typo on one of their personal social media posts.

A desire to dig in and learn the ongoing and changing nuances of maternal mental health in the state of Utah.

Outcomes we are looking for:

Increase brand awareness and followers for Serenity on all social media platforms.

Effectively engage with online followers to humanize the Serenity brand and message.

Develop a social media engagement plan to include posting cadence, tone, topics, resources needed, etc.

Compensation: $18-$24.50 an hour DOE
