PART-TIME TEAM MEMBER

Join the fast growing, local family-owned business, Cured and Cultivated. Owned by a husband and wife team, Cured and Cultivated is a gourmet food service company. We specialize in wholesale cheese plates for wineries, online retail of cheese & deli products shipping nationwide, and catering of elaborate grazing tables for private events.

We are looking for a skilled, highly motivated, hardworking, neat, and accurate individual who can share in a wide variety of duties and responsibilities. The position would be best suited to someone who can confidently work independently - introverts welcome!

Job Duties: (including but not limited to)

• Cheese & charcuterie plate assembly and packaging
• Slicing cheese and meats by hand and/or using automatic slicing machine
• Fulfilling online retail orders for shipping
• Inventory tracking
• Creating charcuterie boards and grazing tables for private events

Requirements & Preferred Skills:

• 2 years of recent prior experience in food service industry
• Above average knowledge of fine cheese and charcuterie
• Must have California Food Handler Card and/or Food Managers Certificate
• Ability to work self-reliantly and efficiently
• Attention to detail, cleanliness, and understanding of food safety standards
• Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs

Schedule & Compensation

• 3 days/week, Monday-Wednesday
• $20/hr
