The Richmond Beverage located in Richmond, CA has an opening for a Parts Clerk/Maintenance Office Assistant.
Description: General office duties for Maintenance Department, including but not limited to accounts payable, inventory reconciliation, spare parts organization, and work order administration.
Overview: The Richmond Beverage plant is looking for an energetic and highly organized assistant for our Maintenance Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in parts organization and inventory control systems. This is a fun, fast-paced position that plays an essential role in the success of the facility. Located in Richmond, CA the facility is a leading provider of carbonated beverages including seltzers, mixers, and sodas.
Key Accountability:
Inventory - Maintain maintenance parts inventory control. Put away parts after they have been received. Maintain critical spare parts inventory, safety stock, and reorder level. Oversee organization and 5S for spare parts and maintenance shop.
Clerical - Input and process Preventative Maintenance (PM) work orders into PMC system. Monitoring and reporting of PM completion rates to Maintenance and Plant Manager. Daily issuance and updating work order database in PMC. Respond to and direct incoming calls to meet the customers' needs. Prioritize and organize duties to meet deadlines.
Financials and Compliance - Maintain accounts payable data and accruals for maintenance department. Ordering, purchasing, and receiving of maintenance parts and supplies. Research pricing, vendor/invoice discrepancies. Assist in maintaining and processing P-Card purchases and reconciling online charges, purchase log and invoices. Meet Period Close deadlines for P-card and PMC Invoice accruals. Maintain all Capital PO documentation per Sarbanes Oxley compliance and forward to the Plant Office Supervisor. Analyze and track maintenance department expenses in an effort to manage controllable cost. Assist in preparation of departmental budget, compile monthly and annual budget requests. Attend weekly expense checkbook meetings with Plant Manager, Maintenance Manager and Plant Office Supervisor.
Education Level: High school diploma or G.E.D with some college preferred.
Experience Level: 1-2 years accounts payable experience. 1-2 years maintenance parts and inventory system. Vendor and customer relations experience a plus.
Skills and Background: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, excel, word, outlook calendar and accounts payable programs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
