Parts Counter Advisor

• 
  Pay: $27-33 / hour (depending on prior relevant experience)
• Bonus: 5% bonus potential
• Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm

  • This is a non-union, office based position requiring a high level of technical/mechanical knowledge

Responsibilities

• 
  Successfully provide solutions to customers' parts needs
• Researching and providing customers with correct part information by utilizing all available resources including inspecting worn, damaged, or defective part to determine customer need
• Selling parts to all fax-in, email in, call-in, and walk-in customers
• Advising customers about additional related parts and services available
• Maintaining communication with customers on open orders
• Communicating effectively to build strong, long term, trusting relationships with customers
• Discussing features and benefits of alternative solutions and offer those solutions to the customer (e.g., re-manufacturing, repair options, Allied)
• Promoting a one-stop-shop to customers

Qualifications

• 1-year parts counter experience or related mechanical/technical experience required
• Ability to multitask & be highly organized and competent in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)
• Proficient in computer applications and software
• Bilingual English-Spanish preferred

• 
  Sitting for prolonged periods
• Hand coordination (typing and writing) and reaching
• Occasional standing and forward bending
• Occasional walking and climbing stairs
• Carrying (up to 20lbs.)
