Job purpose

* This is a 4 10's schedule, working Tuesday-Friday 5:30 am-3:30 pm*

Our Paint Line -Parts Handlers are an integral part of the American Products team. They are responsible for ensuring our parts are handled correctly coming off the powder paint line.

A Parts Handler will be assigned to a part of the line, but may switch stations in the assembly process at manager or supervisor designation or request.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Hangs parts as they come off the line.

· Inspects painted units for runs, sags, or unpainted areas.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

· High school diploma or GED strongly preferred

Specialized Knowledge and Experience

· Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, shop floor documentation, customer specifications/diagrams, instructions provided by supervisors/managers.

· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

· Understanding of powder painting, including related equipment, ovens, conveyor systems, and washing equipment. (Preferred but not required)

Pay: $16.50 - $17.75 per hour
