DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced Pastry Chef De Partie to join the team of our client, a 4-star hotel in Co Roscommon.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry preparing food for weddings, functions, conferences, and banqueting events, hold a minimum of NVQ level 2 in food preparation and a basic Food Hygiene Certification. In addition, excellent communication skills, high standards of attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure are necessary attributes for this role.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Working as part of a team to create and deliver excellent quality goods in line with company product and service standards
- Ensuring food preparation and presentation exceeds guests’ expectations
- Assist with controlling food costs and meeting financial targets
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures
- Any other duties as assigned
