JOB SUMMARY
- High School education, required
- Two years of college or specialization post High School training, preferred
- One to three years customer service, preferable in a medical setting
- One to three years medical claims billing or processing, and/or collections
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Familiarity with Electronic Mail
- Strong verbal and decision-making skills
- Computer experience/exposure to Windows environment
- Keyboarding of 35-50 words per minute
- Must be able to work independently within assigned guidelines
- Requires ability to work independently with minimal supervision
