Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer incoming patient calls- Post, and manage patient account payments
- Process credit card payments
- Managing Accounts Receivable reports
- Establish and follow up on patient payment plans
- Research credit and overpayments
- Pre -Claims Edits
- Coding / Insurance tasks
- Prepare bank deposits
- Understanding of patient privacy rights in compliance with HIPAA
- Perform other duties as assigned by Manager and Director as needed
Minimum Requirements:
- Bilingual - Spanish/English is preferred
- Associates Degree
- Minimum of 2 years in administrative experience in a medical office is preferred
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be an effective communicator
- Dedicated to follow-through and results
- Very detail-oriented
- Flexibility as it relates to schedule, responsibilities and priorities
- Strong organizational skills
- The ability to work independently and as a member of a team
