Scheurer Health, a critical access rural hospital, is seeking an individual who is a Michigan State Certified Nurse Aide. This individual will follow Scheurer’s policies and procedures, participate in improving the patient and family experience. The candidate will provide basic patient care, assistance to the nursing and physician staff as needed. This position will also assume the Unit Clerk/Receptionist responsibilities during their shift. The candidate must be willing to assist outside clinical departments as needed.
At minimum the candidate will have one year experience as a CENA in a hospital environment and one year of experience in a clerical position. The candidate must maintain their CENA certification, and hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) card.
