Duties & Responsibilities:
Looking for someone who is an ambassador, has forward thinking, who truly cares enough to create a warm, welcoming environment for our patients, staff and for anyone walking through our doors. Someone who knows that our patients mean everything to us and without them, we wouldn't be here.
- Excellent communication skills are a must with being part of a team that assists with all incoming calls and transferring to the appropriate area.
- New patient registration- over the phone or by fax, attention to detail is a must
- Linking/scanning
- Check in/check out
- Scheduling & changing appointments, working closely with the clinical staff to ensure patients keep on track with their plan of care
- Collecting copayments, coins, deductibles & miscellaneous supplies at time of service
- Able to confidently converse with patients regarding collecting any past due balances that were missed but to know when to ask for assistance
- Balancing out at the end of the day with all patient payments
- Works closely with your team, clinical staff, billing, marketing, office manager and the insurance verifications/authorization departments to achieve daily & weekly goals/KPI's
- Attending all staff meetings- your ideas and input truly matter
- Adds and assists to keep the clinic neat and tidy
- Other miscellaneous duties as required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
