Job Summary

• Under the direct guidance of the nurse, the Patient Care Tech/PCT is accountable for direct routine patient care activities for patients to promote comfort, maintain or enhance their function abilities and contribute to their overall plan of care.
• In addition, they will perform receptionist and clerical duties for nursing service including communication tasks and computer entry. Knowledge of facility procedures, standing orders, phone and paging system is imperative.

Education and/or Experience

• Due to the operation of certain power equipment, the legal minimum age for this position is at least 18 years old.
• Previous work experience in a hospital or long term care setting preferred, but not required.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 6 months of start date and must be maintained.
• Nursing assistant certification preferred but not required.

Work Schedule

• 7:00am-7:30pm, 7:00pm-7:30am; 72 hours every 2 weeks
• Weekend rotation: every third
• Holiday rotation: every other

Pay: $17.50 - $23.00 per hour
