Position: Patient Relations Specialists

Pay: $20.00-23.00/Hour

Hours: 8am-4:30pm, M-F

Location: Pasadena, CA

COVID: Must be FULLY vaccinated + Booster with proof of vaccination card/documents.

*This is a contract to potential hire or contract extension position*

Job Description:

• Patient Relations Specialists are the patient ambassadors of Huntington Health Physicians, providing patients with ready access to care within assigned practices and/or service areas.
• Utilizing telecommunications, computer information systems and our EMR system, PRSs serve as the initial point of contact for the various practices and services provided by HHP.
• PRSs practice a high level of customer service, act with a sense of urgency and reliability, have strong data entry skills, are active listeners, exhibit excellent phone etiquette, have strong verbal and written skills, and demonstrate a spirit of teamwork and personal ownership in the department.
• PRSs are expected to utilize the Huntington Health Physicians policies and procedures as their guiding principles.

Job Requirements:

• Quick learner, effective written and verbal communication skills, team player. Punctual, ability to multi-task
• High School Diploma
• Fully COVID vaccinated INCLUDING Booster Shot
• Experience with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans
• 3+ years of experience in a call center environment
