Qualified applicant must have minimum high school or general equivalency diploma. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar area is preferred. A minimum of three (3) years payroll/bookkeeping experience is preferred.The primary duties of the Payroll Compliance Officer will be managing time entry for transportation and all items related to the retirement program (Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System) for our employees. This is a full-time, 12-month exempt assignment with insurance and retirement benefits. Salary will be determined by documented comparable work experience and placement on the Salary Classified Personnel salary schedule. Starting pay will be no less than $41,762 per year.
