About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and enthusiastic Payroll Specialist to join our growing team. You will be part of the EMEA team who focus on providing exceptional employee experience. Reporting to the EMEA Payroll Manager, you will primarily be required to liaise with our payroll vendor(s) to ensure smooth delivery of payroll services, investigating and resolving queries. The entire team covers 15 countries which will give the successful candidate a wide base of experience and lots of opportunity to grow.

What You’ll Do:


  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of payroll and payments to employees / tax authorities / pension providers across international locations.
  • Liaise with and manage external third-party payroll providers to coordinate payroll processing accurately and in compliance with taxation regulations. Use third-party software to manage and process payroll.
  • Manage monthly payroll process that includes collating, editing, reviewing, processing, and transmitting all payroll wages, deductions, reimbursements, bonuses, commissions, and manual payments consistent with local regulations.
  • Collaboration with HR to ensure timely processing of all new hires, promotions, and terminations.
  • Be the primary point of contact to answer questions regarding payroll from employees and other coworkers.
  • Assist with annual statutory audit payroll requests and testing.
  • Engage, participate and lead process improvement projects and identify areas where further improvements (such as automation) can be made to save time and improve accuracy.
  • Maintain process documentation for key payroll processes as well as assisting the payroll manager to build a payroll calendar and control framework.


What You Need to Succeed

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience processing EMEA payrolls.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment processing large volumes of data accurately.
  • Highly proficient in data entry.
  • Confident using systems, excel, word etc.
  • Individual who can work under pressure and keep to deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to details and organizational skills.


Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:

  • Experience working with Workday and payroll vendors.
  • Experience documenting payroll processes and collaborating cross functionally.
  • European Language a plus (but not required).
