Technical Requirements:
- Must have at least 2 years working in the IT field.
- Troubleshooting Skills for operating systems (various versions of Windows at least).
- Common applications such as Microsoft Office, e-mail applications/accounts
- Internet and basic network set up/connectivity skills (wired and wireless)
- Hands-on hardware replacement
- Must be comfortable dealing with viruses, spyware and malware
- Home Theater installation experience a must
- A+ or other certifications
The ideal technician must:
- Be experienced, skilled and customer-focused
- Possess great customer service and communication skills are necessary for this position, as techs would be dealing with customers directly
- Must have a valid driver's license and own reliable transportation as well as be willing to travel at least 25 miles
- Possess great customer service skills, great attention to detail and be able to work under little to no supervision
- Must be able to adapt to new challenges, learn new skills quickly, and find solutions using savvy search engine techniques
- Must be able to work in a professional manner under little to no supervision.
