Role: PCIS Instrumentation and Electrical Engineer

Location: Tucson, AZ (On-site)

Type: Contract/Full Time

Responsibilities of Role:

· Work as an onsite Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer in an CPG/Pharma-Medical plant.

· Lead electrical startup of all process and packing equipment.

· Support power-on checkout of PDP’s, MCC’s, Panels.

· Support electrical start-up activities for process equipment including

Construction turnover

Yellow-lining of drawings, completion of checklists

Field check-out of instrumentation and I/O, etc.

· Follow the commissioning procedure for validation document in time.

· Be familiar with the electrical drawings and programs for process systems.

· Flow to work as needed to support the project start-up schedule

Skills Required:

· Electrical and Instrumentation design/ commissioning Engineer

· Trained and qualified in NFPA70E requirements.

· Experienced in Electrical Distribution design for process plants in compliance with NEC.

· Basic Siemens PLC and BACnet knowledge and Wonderware HMI understanding.

· Instrumentation knowledge and experience – set-up, calibration verification, adjustments, etc.

  • Fisher Valves, Micro Motion Flowmeters, Rosemount transmitters, E+H Flowmeters and Transmitter, Rockwell control and communication system and Allen Bradly VFDs

· Previous experience with MCC’s, VFD’s, electrical troubleshooting, electrical schematics

· Previous work in system commissioning and validation would be a plus.

· Definitely the commissioning/validation is a requirement vs a plus

· Good Communication/presentation skills, teamwork & collaboration, able to lead site resource

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Willingness to travel:

  • 100% (Preferred)
