Join a dynamic pelvic health program in metro St. Louis. SSM Health Physical Therapy prides itself in its specialty programs. Our pelvic health team serves a diverse patient population treating all ages and all genders for pelvic floor dysfunction – with clinics in both Missouri and Illinois. There are mentorship opportunities locally with SSM Health Physical Therapy and nationally with Select Medical's special interest group. Locally, our team offers monthly pelvic health office hours, quarterly hands on labs and meetings, and varied continuing education opportunities throughout the year with local physicians and expert clinicians. SSM Health Physical Therapy is partnered with Saint Louis University with an accredited Women's Health Physical Therapy Residency, one of seventeen in the country, with clinicians serving as faculty for the program. Responsibilities:
- Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plan in accordance with the patient’s need and physician direction
- Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline specific therapy services for those assigned patients
- Ensures design of functional treatment programs allowing for effective return to community activities
- Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, coworkers and self
- Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline specific therapy services and design of program delivery
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy required.
- Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Therapist required.
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
