PBNA Ridgefield is a PepsiCo company located off I-5 exit 11 in Ridgefield. We serve our original territory of Vancouver as well as Clark, Cowlitz, Skamania, and Wahkiakum counties. We distribute beverages including Pepsi, Dr Pepper, Mountain Dew, Gatorade, waters, juices, sports and energy drinks as well as coffee and teas.
JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a 3-year clean driving record.
- Personal vehicle required with Proof of Insurance.
- Pre-Employment Drug Screen including THC.
- 7-year Criminal Background check.
- Previous grocery, DSD or customer service experience preferred *
COMPENSATION
- Merchandiser break-in scale $18.11 to $21.30, overtime after 8 hours per day

- Full time schedule, 4:30am to 1:00pm 5 days per week (weekends required) **TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY'S OFF** We are in Peak Season so you can expect OVERTIME!

What you will be doing:
Our merchandisers improve customers’ buying experience by creating merchandising solutions in their assigned stores. You will cultivate relationships with store management. We primarily serve our grocery and retail sales channels in Southwest Washington. The merchandising team supports our sales department in these high-volume accounts by stocking shelves, filling coolers, building displays, and providing excellent customer service.
This position is labor intensive, requiring lifting, loading, pushing, and pulling cases weighing from 20-45 pounds per case repeatedly over 8–10-hour work period, as well as bending, reaching, and squatting while merchandising and moving products. You are out in the field daily working at multiple locations throughout SW Washington.
Position is responsible for product merchandising within large volume stores (Grocery, etc.). This includes stocking shelves, rotating shelved products, setting up displays, stocking and rotating products in coolers, organizing and rotating products in storage rooms, and moving products from storage to the sales floor.
- This position interacts with personnel at the store location.
- This position is labor intensive, requiring lifting, loading, pushing, and pulling cases weighing from 20-45 pounds per case, as well as bending, reaching, and squatting while merchandising and moving products.
- This job follows a consistent schedule with specific start times and customers (opportunity to attain different work schedules with time.)
- Merchandise store shelving, coolers and displays with products in assigned accounts.
- Rotate products in the backroom and on the shelf.
- Transport products to and from backroom to shelf location
- Use equipment to transport products (e.g., U Boats, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.)
- Display promotional material such as signs and banners in accounts.
- Keep back-room stock in neat and orderly condition.
- Communicate store issues to store managers and Pepsi management.
- Build customer relationships at the store level.
- Comply with operating procedures (e.g., scan-in/scan-out, following designated route, etc.)
- Service accounts during designated times established by management.
- Deliver customer service (e.g., communication, rapport building, attentiveness to customer needs, etc.)
- Ability to operate under minimal supervision (self-managed role)
- Use handheld devices to write/input orders.
- Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
