Essential Job Functions

Act as liaison between members, providers, and pharmacies or care facilities

Coordinate the scheduling of patient medication delivery

Obtain and process patient order requests

Verify patient information on prescription is complete and accurate

Assist in entering and preparing prescriptions.

Process new patient enrollment forms

Obtain updated payment information from patients

Prepare and file insurance claims

Complete the sale, packages and ship medication orders

Stock and inventory prescription medication and pharmacy supplies

Evaluate service line/dept/program performance and prepare required reports

Support operations of MedOne Pharmacy and Clinical Services as needed.

Position Requirements

Must obtain certification as a pharmacy technician within one year of start date

Excellent customer service skills required

Work well in a team environment

Must be detail oriented, able to work independently, meet deadlines, establish priorities, and be flexible

Work Hours

This position can be based at corporate in Dubuque, IA or remote. Preference will be given to Dubuque area candidates.

Full time (40 hours per week), hourly position
