Job Duties:

Will be required to fill the prescriptions under the supervision of the Pharmacist by obtaining correct information from patients and medical personnel.

Take care of customers over the phone and in person with good customer services. Take care of the customers coming to pick up or drop off the prescriptions. Contact physician's offices for refills or prior authorizations to ensure the customers get correct medications on time.

In addition to these tasks, you are responsible for:

• Processing insurance claims
• Organizing inventory
• Referring customers to a pharmacist to answer questions
• screen prescription orders for accuracy and completeness
• Prepare prescriptions: retrieve, count, pour, weigh, measure, and sometimes mix the medication
• Perform calculations
• Perform medication reconciliation
• Use technology to help maintain accurate patient records, prepare and package medications, and place orders
• Organizing and preparing deliveries Monday - Friday.

Requirements:

High school degree/GED Required
