Pharmacy Technician - Northwest Health Porter - Full Time 0.8FTE

Pharmacy Technician in a hospital setting. Typically reports to supervisor or manager. Receives and stores incoming medication and supplies. Verifies stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records. Stocks and maintains medication dispensing machines. Compounds sterile and non-sterile medications under the direction of a registered pharmacist. May be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 0-3 years of clinical experience in a related field. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a hospital pharmacy. Current Indiana pharmacy technician license in good standing and PTCB or equivalent national certification REQUIRED.

This position is rotating days and evenings. Rotating holiday and weekend shifts are required.
