Job Summary

The Phlebotomist organizes specimen collection requests, performs patient clinical laboratory specimen collection procedures, specimen transport, specimen processing, testing dispersal, point-of-care testing procedures, and other pre analytic functions following established standards and practices

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• This position requires a valid driver’s license and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier.

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $17.50-$23.00 per hour
