Cold River Mining has been providing the wholesale gemstone mining industry with the best products on the market for the last 30 years. We supply campgrounds, theme parks, resorts, zoos & aquariums internationally. Due to Covid we have launched a new retail arm that supplies direct to consumer products, had videos go viral and grown quickly.

While we do no actual mining, leaving that up to the experts, we uncover big smiles in kids young and old.

Graphic Designer / Product Photographer

We are looking for a creative and brand aware graphic designer / product photographer to highlight the special qualities of our products through images.

To be successful as a team member, you must have excellent planning skills, and keep up with the latest photo editing software.

Job Responsibilities:

• Continuing to grow the catalog of photos.
• Designing packaging, flyers, ads (print and digital)
• Taking all product photos, editing them, loading them to multiple sites and backing up photos to hard drive.
• Updating website stock, photos
• Researching the product to how to price the product relative to competition on multiple platforms.
• Staying organized
• Work with Creative team for new product launches.
• Interact with Brand Ambassador daily for new social media postings.

Job Requirements:

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator
• (Preferred) Previous experience as a photographer (with a portfolio)
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexibility to form new concepts for each product shoot
• Good time management skills
• Good Focus
• High standards for your work
• Team player, willing to help with anything that comes up
• Job hoppers need not apply
• This position, while somewhat flexible, requires an 8 AM start time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $26.00 per hour
