The Camera & Photos team creates privacy-respecting machine learning technologies to ship emotional experiences to hundreds of millions of users worldwide. We are looking for an outstanding Storytelling Engineer to develop innovative algorithms and experiences for the next generation of thoughtful and personal products we deliver. - Excellent analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ideal candidate should be able to traverse various visual forms with a curator’s mindset and can distinguish matters of taste from personal preference.

- Must be able to understand and build both linear and thematic stories.
Description
In this role you will ideate, prototype and build new intelligence algorithms and product features to power new Photos experiences related to Photos For You, Memories, and People. Candidates should have a proven track record that demonstrates strong collaboration, excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for designing high quality algorithms with the user experience in focus. The candidate needs to show initiative, take ownership of a problem and work cross-functionally to collect information, solve problems and disseminate findings.
Education & Experience
B.S. / M.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent experience

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $130,000 and $242,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
