Overview:
Our Vienna, VA outpatient orthopedic physical therapy center is looking for a compassionate and driven licensed Physical Therapist to provide exceptional patient care experiences. Our large clinical team is open to consider new graduate or experienced physical therapists to join us! We have four DPTs on staff and we treat a general orthopedic population ranging from age 8 to 100. We see a variety of diagnoses from over-use injuries to post-op. Some of our therapists are certified in dry needling and our specialties also include TMJ, post-op, balance/gain, acute and overuse injuries, industrial, and vestibular treatment. We also have support staff that help with both front desk work and a rehab aide that assists the therapists.
For individuals interested in cancer rehab, join our highly trained and respected ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation Program team, who provide rehabilitative services to help improve quality of life for people affected by cancer. Our ReVital team provides the necessary education and training for therapists invested in treating both our oncologic and orthopedic population, which must be completed within the first 6-12 months of employment. Your caseload would include a steady mix of cancer rehabilitation and orthopedics, with potential for full time cancer rehabilitation.

Hours: Tues, Thurs, Fri 7:00AM to 3:30; Mon, Weds 10:30-7; Salary commensurate with experience.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Physical Therapy
- Current State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of which he or she will practice
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required
- Ability to work 40 hours per week with occasional late or early shifts to accommodate patients
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cancer rehabilitation interest/experience
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift patients using appropriate biomechanical techniques frequently throughout the course of a workday/shift. Must be capable of easily lifting fifty (50) pounds dead weight alone
- Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a workday/shift
- Visual acuity (near and distant) sufficient to evaluate, diagnose and monitor patient needs and to maintain accurate records, recognize people and provide directions
- Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions
- Ability to push wheeled equipment through the facility and in the community
- Possess fine motor skills for legible and accurate reporting, charting, scheduling, daily correspondence, and presentations, either manually or through use of electronic equipment
- Possess fine motor skills for effective and efficient handling of diagnostic or therapeutic equipment
