GWP Construction, Inc is a underground utility construction company hiring reliable team members that want to grow with the company.

GWP is looking for reliable and honest hard working employees to fill Underground Pipe Layer positions. This work includes installing Storm, Water, Sewer and Fire Mains. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN UNDERGROUND UTILITIES. Must be able to perform all activities associated with installing pipe, fittings, valves structures, and etc. (Irrigation experience does not meet qualification requirements). Must be able to make connections to existing pipe, work in trench box, set up lasers and in dewatering situations. Must have experience in Trench safety practices. Knowledge and documented experience is required. References will be checked. or provide references from previous employer. Driver's license preferred. apply in person

Job Duties: (positions available in Clermont and Surrounding area)

• Must be able to determine pipe elevation; alignment and grade.

• Must be able to calculate pipe slope, installation elevations, and use equipment to lay pipe on grade with horizontal and vertical accuracy.
• Full range of body motion including handling and operating levers or controls, manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.

• Standing, bending for extensive periods of time.
• Must be able to mount and dismount off vehicles and/or equipment.
• Shovel, rake and spread dirt.
• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task

• Miscellaneous labor, site preparation and site clean-up.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Must be able to pass Pre Employment Drug Screen

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
