PM Plant Operations Manager

Malden, MA

Salary: starting at $150k and up per year ( Based on Experience)

General Responsibilities:

• Build plant-specific capabilities to assure continuous improvement and understanding of the corporate vision.
• Direct all Operations
• Drive employee engagement, training, and development to maximize manufacturing, quality, safety, and productivity.
• Communicate results and action plans to all employees and managers.
• Collaborate directly with production planning and materials management.
• Communicate directly with Human Resources to ensure employee issues or concerns are correctly addressed and resolved.
• Work with finance on departmental budget.
• Initiate cost savings measures relating to crewing, standards, and yields.
• Ensure that all plant operations are conducted in a safe and controlled environment.
• Ensure all quality and regulatory standards, specifications, and policies are met.
• Report any food safety issues to management.

Minimum Requirements

· 5+ years in Food Manufacturing is REQUIRED

· 5+ years of Management experience

· Bilingual in Spanish is PREFERRED but NOT REQUIRED

· Good communication skills-written and oral.

· Ideal candidate will possess 5+ years food manufacturing experience

· Excellent follow-through including ability to reason through critical issues.

· Ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.

· Good knowledge of the Food Manufacturing Industry

· Should have experience with USDA & FDA requirements

· Computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $150,000.00 per year
