Pay Rate: $20-$24 per Hour (Little to No Overtime Required)

Schedule: This position can be made into a part-time or full-time position depending on employee's need/preference. The number of hours scheduled per week can be discussed, but employee will need to be available Monday-Friday between 7:00AM - 6:00PM.

Note: Employee's schedule will be between this time frame. Employee will not work the full time period.

Job Responsibilities (Training is Provided):

• Perform work conforming to standard work instructions. This includes a detailed understanding of work orders, labels, material identification and traceability logs, lot codes, and FIFO.
• Perform work in a safe manner conforming to appropriate requirements for: PPE, lock-out/tag-out, manual lifting techniques, MSDS, tripping/slipping hazards, and machine and work cell specific safety training.
• Introduce the correct materials into production both for mold/material changes and for ongoing runs, ensuring all risks of material contamination are avoided and eliminated.
• Clean grinders, drying hoppers, loaders, material conveying tubes/hoses/pipes, etc to ensure contaminate free production runs.
• Clean filters, screens, etc. to ensure material is properly drying and conveying material.
• Set, program, and load dryers so that zero downtime results from wet material.
• Perform work cell set-ups and teardowns including equipment placement, scrap segregation and collection, WIP regrind, and material blending.
• Assist in keeping the work cells supplied with empty containers, material kitting items, cleaning supplies, etc.
• Cover operator jobs during breaks so that machines do not have to be shut down.

Physical Requirements:

• Employee must be able to walk/stand up to 8 hours.
• Employee must be able to climb, balance, kneel, and crouch to perform certain elements of job.
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. Must have 20/20 corrected vision.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Candidate should understand the importance of learning and strictly following systems.
• Candidate will also receive on-the-job training to learn how GreenLeaf interprets ISO standards and how to use/follow the related production system.
• Reading Comprehension: Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents.
• Talking to others to convey information effectively.
• Using Excel to enter data and interpret results.
• Knowledge of e-mail software and basic computer skills.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required

Additional Requirements:

• Able to read, speak, and write in English.
• Pass colorblind test, background check, drug screen, and required training assessments'
